Not Allowing Migrants' Trains "Injustice": Amit Shah To Mamata Banerjee

Dispute on workers' return home Shah's letter to Mamta - Do not allow trains to reach Bengal unfairly with migrant laborers, doing so will increase problems for them.

1. Amit Shah told- Center has given facilities to transport more than two lakh migrant laborers from different states to their homes.
2. West Bengal government is not helping the migrant laborers to come to their state.

New Delhi: Home Minister Amit Shah wrote a letter to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Saturday. It alleged that the central government is not getting support from the state government to help migrant workers reach home. Shah said that the Center has provided facilities to more than two lakh migrant laborers to reach their homes in different states. The workers of West Bengal also want to go back, but the state government is not approving trains in them.

In West Bengal, 1678 cases of corona have been reported. Of these, 323 have been cured and 160 people have died. But Mamta Sarkar says that there have been 70 deaths in the state. The remaining patients died due to other diseases.

 More than 2.5 lakh people got benefit from trains;
Punya Salila Srivastava, Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs, had said on Friday, '222 special trains have been run to take workers, students, devotees and tourists home. More than 2.5 lakh people benefited from this. ' In his statement Shah has given only the figure of laborers.
